They were not pinned. The only team member pinned to my knowledge was Mike Nelson. Mike also was running an aluminum chassis but his setup was really different. I used it for the mains and it worked good but uses custom pistons in the shocks, elevated rear uprights etc.

To me Ryan and Kody proved the truck works against Losi's best. Mount up some sadles, install a brace and basket and you are FT race ready. Not really that big a deal.
