What's the point if they are not legal for racing? Just put in a bigger motor if you must be King of practice day. Otherwise, it'll take a rule change at the top.

The TA06 ball diff does fit, but the new M07 gear diffs are smoother and last much longer. Ball diffs get "gritty" fast, requiring a lot more maintenance.

That's an interesting point, but exactly what and how would that change? The buggies I'm familiar with all use 3-gear.
Check out wtcc's FF project...fascinating...he changed to a 2-gear.

Yes, of course some weight is needed because it's a four-wheeled vehicle. But my beloved old M03, which has very little weight on the rear wheels, can get similar lap times to my M07.

Yeah. Opening up shock and gear ratio is bad decision. Sure they will make the trucks handle better and go faster, but that's not really the point.
