Xs3 has the receiver that came with the radio....

Xs3 has the receiver that came with the radio. The servos are several std. Hitec and Futaba, Hitec 605bb, 6945, and the servos that came w/ the Jr radio.

I still run an ae tank on my ntc3 but on my gt, I have a mugen tank from a mst-1. Only had to redrill 1 hole and engine idled much smoother after the swap.

The last trucks I can compare to were Ae, Losi and Traxxas from the late 80's/early 90's. Anybody remember the Blue Eagle race trucks? I definetly think think the quality of the Mugen kit is better....
