SN Foams

We've got a high bite asphalt track and we've not been able to come up with anything that works real well yet. (Our track seems...

Sirio Outlaw 12 Carb Sticking

I guess my first post was a little confusing.

The piston isn't sticking. The slide on the carb sticks when I set the idle. Apparently the idle screw doesn't align with the slide as it should...

AAC Sirio Outlaw .12

I'm strictly a parking lot basher, I generally let the motor cool to ambient between tanks of fuel. I live in Atlanta, GA. So far its mostly in the 80's when we've been running with high humidity.

sirio outlaw 12

Yes the Sirio motor is AAC. I've got one and several of my friends do also. I'm no expert, but with only about 1 gallon thru it i'm impressed with the performance so far. It's also the coolest...

Sirio Carb

I've got a sirio outlaw 12, and i've got carb issues, specifically the idle adjustment. When i increase the idle to where it needs to be, it interfers with the movement of the slide and gets real...

MT engine

I started out with an HPI 15ss on my MT. It was a good learning engine but it really doesn't have the hp of many others out there(the ss has about .78 hp). I've got 2 mt's right now one has a Picco...

Suspension Tuning

I've seen the RPM products but I'm not familiar with Integy. My concern is with alignment, camber and toe-in. (Anything that might keep the truck from going perfectly straight.)

I run a street...

Lightbulb Suspension Set-ups

I'm considering buying a suspension set-up fixture (like the Hudy or MIP) but don't have any idea if this would help me.

Has anyone used one?? Any comments??

Any/all advice greatly...

HPI

I'm not posting to bash HPI necessarily. I think they do a decent job but they really are just in it for the money. They don't really care how they support the business so long as it grows and they...

Nice Posts

You guys are covering some great subjects. I am interested in both the bumper and shocks for the HPI NMT. A wide bumper might really help to preserve the diff shafts, the OEM skid plate is only...

Sounds like you're on the right track with the slipper clutch adjustment. You might also want to look at the engagement to make sure you're getting a good fit.... getting the nipples all the way in...

HPI Diff's

Just a quick update.

I spoke with HPI this week about the diff problem. They were unaware of a problem..... go figure.... no explanation about why they would break and no comment about the...

The CVD/DIff Shaft engagement issue is only apparent on the front of the truck. I know they make different cvd's for the front and rear. Are the rear cvd's longer than the front ??

I believe...

Thanks for the reply Popsracer,

My Diff Shaft life depends on how lucky I am. Today I didn't have any problems but I was never "rubbed". Yesterday with a brand new diff I didn't get two tanks of...

Thumbs down HPI Diff Shafts

I noticed the posts about HPI and thought I'd offer some whining of my own.

My problem is the lousy front Diff Shafts. Even the shiny "heavy duty" diff shafts break regularly. I'm not kidding,...
