No Prep Drag Racing

Shock oil

I run a 2wd slash with 100k shock oil
every pass I try it kicks to the right or left my shocks are evenly balanced
could it be my oil is to heaby for the shocks

Recently purchased a Losi 8 2.0 to use for drag racing I'm kind of in a bind on what gearing I should use right now I have a 29 tooth pinion and a 38 spur not knowing if that's good for drag or not...
