My point is they are beginners and don't have to buy a slew of gears. Just buy the "suggested ratio". Until they can keep it off the wall for a lap or 10 they won't notice a few teeth difference....

It would have had to of been a spec 25.5 for it to be slower. Open 25.5 motors aren't that much slower than the USGT motor.
