I think the problem is the gear ratio. Even when a TA02 is geared as high as it can go, it's probably only around a 6.7 or so FDR. The TA02 and TA03 were not designed with brushless motors in mind....

I can say with confidence...those tires are AWESOME on pavement. I didn't...

All of us CORRC guys run the 21.5/LiPo combination. Also...you can be competitive without an ESC that doesn't advance timing, but...
