You definitely will have more gearing choices if starting out with the 69t spur. Pinion wise from 26t onwards, depending on the length of the straight at your track. The stock 76t is more suitable...

So sorry I can't provide any info for your queries, as I'm also waiting for the 55 kit's release. Similarly as you, all my packs are shorties. That's what held me back from getting the 64 kit.

Cero Sport 55 will have the motor in a 5/5 balance instead of the current 6/4 balance. The chassis will also be able to accept shorty packs as well.
