yup, I guess i'll stick with the metal gear for...

yup, I guess i'll stick with the metal gear for now...I'll just bring ear plugs to the track, car runs awesome.

Yea, I tried the nexx gear but the tekno chassis cut-out is off set to the gear and the diff brace(d8) won't line up with the mount holes on the diff stands(d8) because the grear is to thick, unless...

Does anybody know if there is a plastic spur gear that will fit the ve8 with a tekno v4 chassis. thanks

Are there any plastic spur gears that will fit the ve8, seems like the metal 48 is noisy. Will the drivetrain sound improve or should i just stay with the metal gear.

So i've ordered the 112mm shocks and shock tower, what weight oil do you use, and what overall setup? I'll be racing on an outdoor track with some medium to large jumps, clay surface. thanks

I'm getting back into rc cars after fifteen years...

I'm getting back into rc cars after fifteen years and am going with a Ve8 and a Tekno V4 chassis. Ive been reading this thread...good stuff. My quetion is, can I use a standerd pinion(non long shank)...
