OS SPEED piston pin retainer clip question

Hey folks,

Just replaced my con rod in the OS Speed engine and I was wondering if there is a perticular way to re-install the piston pin retainer clip (opening facing up or down or dont matter) ...

Hey folks,
Just picked this new plastic spur gear from Losi up and I am not happy.
Do u still need to grind down the motor mount because the plastic gear is wider.. Or did I install it wrong..

thats the way I was leaning. It will be used for racing only, no bashing. How fragile are these things, and am i getting myself into a maint. nightmare. Again, I am comparing this setup to nitro....

I have completely tore down the engine this morning to check everything out and there was not much that was discovered. piston looks good no pitting or scoring, cylinder wall looks good...

Thanks for all the replies folks. I know the head has 1 copper gasket installed from factory. Also, I am about out of fuel so I have no problem buying 20 or 25 % fuel.
