i would say a circlip came loose and made it go into the wall, and yeah it would have snapped the pin and the rest of the gear on impact to the wall.

thats weird that your missing parts from the kit, i thought i lost my swaybar mounts but found them under my chair later....after i robbed them from the old truggy :P

i told you would need a heat gun rob, i would suggest running a couple of tanks at home mate or near the hair dryer, probably 5 +, no point running it in at the track, you just want flat ground...
