Thanks guys, I have been doing some reading on the batteries to get a better understanding of what I am doing.

After looking at them they are Li-Ion batteries.

I have been using the chargers provided by each company. That being said I plug those into some random USB adapter I have and then plug it into an outlet at home.

I have certainly been storing them improperly and charging them without a LIPO charger.

How do I make sure my ESC has a low voltage cutoff?
