I assume you are referring to the Phantom 2 series? If so, I think they are supposed to be a more budget friendly version, but I have found the Phantom 2 6000 to be very competitive in stock TC...

My experience is that with the long arms the car...

My experience is that with the long arms the car rolls less, is less responsive, and is overall more forgiving and easier to drive.

As far as track width, I'd say your only options are changing...
