Thanks for all of the info. I have only raced 4 on road races and one carpet off road race,both using my Slash.. I think I will go with the aluminum steering block first and then look into to servos....

I just got some Trenchers all the way around for my Slash 2wd which has an LCG chassis and aluminum tranny. The Trenchers worked great on my home made track which is a sand/grass mix.
