Associated x-rings, Kyosho x-rings or the Traxxas x-rings all will work well. Kyosho's are the most expensive with the Traxxas being the least expensive.

IMH opinion, that chassis should not be "fixed" if you want to race it, nor should it be sold. It is scrap metal at this point (to me and not worth $1.00).
Do yourself a favor & Just buy a new one...

It's a misunderstanding of how it works is all. You can have your Orion R10 set with boost and timing, but once you set it to Mode 4 or no boost/timing mode, you still have no boost or timing...
