You have to make sure that both surfaces are completely free of glue. I acetone the wheels and then use sand paper to smooth off any cured,left over glue. Also sandpaper the rubber tires inner bead....

Why is the Vorza heavy? Anyone know what parts make it heavy? Extra heatsink fins on the motor? The thicker chassis on the older vorza than the newer one? What's a racing buggy tipping the scales at?

The front tower is an upgrade no one should give up for cheap. There is always none in stock and that breaks very often if you smash into things... that and the front diff case... and drive shaft...

Storing them in the fridge is a good place to store them. It's the chemical nature of lipo batteries. That when in the fridge it slows down the chemical reactions in the lipo and it will not build up...

I run stock gearing with 6s. Temps are fine around 150 and nothing above that... As for connectors I use EC5 and others i've mentionned this too can vouch that they are the BEST connectors hands down!

I can confirm that the center diff gets hot aswell. I thought it was because of my gear mesh too but it's not. I didn't take the temp of it but I will the next time I run mine. My ESC and Motor temps...

EC5 because of the nature of the connector (bullets) have more surface contact to make the connection. Also with EC5 you don't get that freaky spark when you connect the lipo to the ESC connector....

I tried both the knockoffs and the official ones. I don't see a difference and I decided to go with the knockoffs from Hobbyking. Save a few bucks and the connection never comes apart.

I have those lipos and they work fine. However you will have to fit them flat ontop of each other rather than on it's side or the body will hit the lipos... They may have made them smaller now but...
