Default RX and TX battery charging help

Getting back into the hobby after many many years and need some help.
Can I use my good old Apex charger to charge RX(1100mah) and TX(2200mah) battery packs? At what ampereage should I be chaging my packs?

Thanks

Yes you should be safe at .5 to 1amp charge rates assuming your charging right to the battery connectors and not through the TX charge jacks.

Wich apex by the way? Some where not nihm chargers but for TX and RX cells at low amps you should be safe.

I used to charge with the apex all the time not problems

Joel, thanks for the reply
My Apex is an older fuzzy logic model.
It has a "Summation" sign as a model.
It can handle nimh cells.
Will work on 0.5 to 1 amp

kool with the built in power supply? That model was all the rage in our club when if first came out. IT was the first digital display ac/dc unit available for a very low price at the time.

Your all hooked up!

Joel, thanks for the tip .......ours is the old Apex∑ charger with the built in stem-down transformer and or the 12v direct from a car battery.

at 0.5amp and 1.0amp both packs took an overnight charge but they did well at the tracks.

cheers....and keep up the burning..."nitro" of course...
