Default Sc10rs wheel hex

Why are there 2 different sizes of hex on the truck? Can I still interchange tires between front and back or is there a special rim for the front and back. Might be a dumb question but I'm used to my sc10rs 4x4 that are the same size

They are 12mm front and rear. If you are meaning how deep the wheel sits against the hub, this is just so you have the correct track width front and rear.

Hop that answers your question.

As stated, both hexes should be 12mm. Is one set a different size? If so, how big, and did it come like that new out of the box?

Different width hexes but same wheels. Has to do with getting track width correct and the front suspension.
