Default Losi TLR 22SCT RTC /Dynamite (FAIL)

Has anyone had a Motor be bad that burns up the ESC? Keep in mind, this is a brand new system. The truck came with a 17.5 Dynamite and the Dynamite platinum ESC. Like I mentioned in a previous post,.....the dynamite ESC burnt when the battery was hooked up the first time I tried going out. Went and bought the HW XERUN 3.1 ESC. Being that I am not wanting to screw anything else up, I went to my LHS/TRACK. The owner and a few others that do this day in and day out hooked up the new ESC for me. (YES I KNOW IT ISN'T HARD TO SCREW THIS PROCESS UP,....BUT AFTER THE 1ST FAIL I WANTED AND NEEDED HELP) Hooked it up......went to the track outside. Drove for not quite 3.5 laps. 1st lap I was trying to go slow to get a feel for the truck and adjust. Second lap I decided to poor it on a bit more but the truck was a bit slow/sluggish. 3rd lap, truck started becoming even more sluggish until it finally came to rest and died. This truck has literally 3.5 laps on it. I am worried that the motor has a short in it and may have burnt (NOW THE 2nd) ESC!!!!!!!!! I am really wondering if the motor was the main problem from the previous ESC being fried and not my brother-in-law hooking up the battery wrong! I'm pretty pissed. The ESC is perfectly set up. Solders are great. Battery hooked up perfect! Setup is fine. Checked Diff. Checked everything to make sure it wasn't something stupid. It has to be the Motor doing this. Brand new!?!?!?!?! At least 10 people including the owner going through the truck making sure it was fine. All verifying nothing should have gone wrong. Not even sure why I am posting TBH. Just venting. Bought a brand new truck that was supposed to be RTC. Now I have had to buy new ESC. And now possibly another new ESC and a motor!

The original motor/esc combo was a sensored system, when the original esc fried it did damage the motor. In turn the motor damaged the new esc.

I've had a motor overheat, short out and take out the ESC and battery with it (RC18T speed car, it looked like a 50mph road flare when it rolled past me). It can happen.

lmao. I don't mean to laugh,....But I would love to have seen that at 50mph! hahhaaa

BTW Horizon is replacing the motor. They won't have anything to do with replacing my brand new HW 3.1 Exerun though. So still out the ESC.
