Default mixing batteries

This is for a brushless e revo. I have two batteries. They are both NiMH. But one is a 3000mah and the other is a 4200mah. Can I use both together? Since I Need two batteries for my e revo.

you theoretically can, but you really want to use packs that are the same.

You'll be fine doing that with Nimh packs as you can't over discharge them. Never do that with lipo packs however!!

Be careful with run time, stop as soon as you feel the power beginning to drop off quicker than normal (Nimh generally have a slight but noticeable power drop through much of the run).

While it is true that running the smaller capacity nimh down isn't the same risk as over discharging a lipo, it is possible to reverse nimh cells if current from the bigger pack continues through the dead pack. Not good.
