Questions?? Losi eight TE 1.0 Setup

What motor/esc do you recommend on 4s mid size track. What are the temps after a pack and what size batteries do you use and c rating. just getting into truggies and got the 1700kv but it heats up on 4s 16/45 gearing on 7/10/3 diff. i know people run 5s but i dont like 5s. i was thinking about the 2000kv but just making sure.

I'm assuming you are referring to the Tekin motors.

1700kv is a buggy motor.

The 2000kv motor on 4S is what you want. The Truggy cans are longer and they won't heat up. Gear it 15/45.

Yea go with a 2000kv on 4s on a Truggy dont get a 2200kv its a lot of power to much i would know and you have to run a high MAH big 4s lipo for long mains with the 2200kv.

Diff setup you have is great it needs that 10k in the center diff for sure reguardless of what Truggy brand you run if you ask me its just all that instant power and Torque of them motors.

1700kv is a truggy motor but it's meant to be ran on 5 cells.
Here is the link showing it being a truggy motor . It is bigger than my buggy motor .

But I got the 2000kv today and I'll be running it tomorrow!
Thanks for the help
