Default Stock, Pro stock, Super stock, Chicken stock?

Hey guys please tell me if I got this right?

Stock = 17.5T blinky
Super stock = 13.5T blinky
Pro stock = 10.5T

So where does 21.5T come in?

Cheers!

You have it right (in the US anyway). Keep in mind, depending on what class it is, tracks may not always be so specific or offer all the options. In 2wd 1/10th buggy, we used to run what we called stock, but was 13.5 (now we run open). Stock SCT was 17.5 though. Onroad TC and 1/12th scale usually offer only 1 variety for club races, but larger races may offer 17.5 and 13.5. WGT on the other hand usually runs 10.5 or 13.5.

For the most part 21.5 doesn't come in. 21.5 and 25.5 are niche motors for specific classes and I think onroad only. 21.5 was the spec motor for USVTA, and is currently the spec for USGT. 25.5 is the current spec for USVTA and ROAR VTA.

Not sure if that just makes it all more confusing or not.

Just to add on to what Orca said.... 21.5 is used in both Tamiya GT3 and F1 (IndyCar) as well if you run TCS. Both are smaller niches of on-road racing.

GT3 I did not know, but F1 I should have. UF1 uses 21.5 as well from my understanding. Good catch!
