Questions?? Brushless Motor - For Idiots

I have been using brushed motors since I started in 2006. I have a growing interest in brushless motors. My father has a gold brushless and an appropriate speed control. I would like basic and important information about these motors. Please treat me like I know nothing of brushless systems.

Brushless motors are ready to run right out of the box. There is no need to break them in like the old brushed motors. They come in a variety of turns. Lower turn motors are faster, ofc.
