Batterys and discharging
I asked a few people and they said the new duratrax ice was a good charger and the integy absolute zero 30 was a good discharger. Both are dc, what do i need to run these a car battery or do they make a 120v ac converter? also is dead shorting a battery good for it ? And how do i store batterys when they are not in use to keep them in the best shape for racing. I thought i read to keep them dead shorted when storing them. All help with the chargers and battery info would be great

OK one at a time...
Duartrac Ice is a good charger. Also look at the LRP Pulsar Competition 1 or 2.
The integy is a good discharger, there are many out there. With this the DC is required to run the cooling fans.
You need an AC/DC power supply. You will need at least 10Amps, I would go higher if you think you may run 2 chargers in the future.
This is a good buy:- http://www.buyreliant.com/psupplies/psv200.htm
Dead shorting is pretty popular at the moment. You need to make sure they really are flat, so a zero discharge tray is essential, solder them when they are in the tray as as soon as you remove them their voltage will bounce back.
Dead shorting will decrease internal resistance and increase voltage but decrease runtime. So it depends what type of racing you are planning on doing.
For mod racing where run time is more critical, this may not be the best choice.

do you leave the battery dead shorted when you store the battery ?

depends how long....
For a couple of weeks should be fine, for any longer, don't dead short, charge at normal rate for 5 mins or so then store.
I am not so cretain about this. I use/clycle mine once a week
