Default Nitro fuel question

I purchased a brand new T-Maxx 3.3 at my LHS back in December and i was told that the fuel they gave me (VP fuels Power Master 20%) worked just the same as any other fuel and it didnt matter (it was also free when i bought the truck).

I then went to a HS not so local and the guy told me i was running the wrong fuel and i should be using Traxxas Top Fuel because its a Traxxas truck.

I am now confused as to which i should be using. is there a real difference other than price???

Default fuel

it would be up to u what u run. but as long u run 20% u will be fine. but i would choose one and stick to it. i would keep changing. but i would run what u broke in ur motor with.

Yea i broke it in with the power master stuff at 20% so i guess i will keep using that...are there any benefits to running the traxxas fuel? will there be any boost in performance at all or help the engine last longer?

Get what works for you, easy on plugs and easy to find the needle... Some nitro has better oil content but what it comes down to is what is available to you... I run boats and 60% and higher nitro is hard to find so I just have to get in on a group buy or get it when I come across it!!! I also add oil to be on the safe side but you should be fine and not need to add any to the 20%
