Default Servo question

I just ordered the losi ten scte roller. And now I'm on the hunt for the electronics. I came across a deal online on a radio and receivers and 8th scale servo but my question is will the servo fit it even work in my losi?

It would help if you posted which servos are included, but in the vast majority of cases, the servos used in 1/10 and 1/8 are the same size so fit shouldn't be an issue.

As for specs, a 1/8 scale servo should also have no problem steering a SCTE but there may be a problem with amp draw depending on which ESC you use. Many people have had problems when running a Caslte MMP with high torque digital servos but there are simple solutions that should allow you to run it regardless.

Post the speifics of which equipment you're looking at and we can give you much better advice.

I can't find specs for either of those servos. Maybe I'm blind but you'll have to hope someone else chimes in since I'm familiar with neither.

What's the deal you're looking at online? Maybe it would be a good idea to buy the package for the other electronics and then sell those servos and buy a specific one.

There are a lot of good servo suggestions in the Official SCTE thread on the Off Road Electric forum. I know the Hitec HS-985MG, Spektrum S6040 and Savoc 1268 are all popular choices for that truck.

The Futaba servo is likely the BLS351 brushless servo.
The Ace is either a DS1313 or DS1015.

All of these servos will fit in the Losi and work well for your application.

I also like the hitec servos. There servos are not to expensive and last a while.
