Default What causes this?

I took my mi1 to the local track today to see how the new car handled, and i was surprised to see some issues with my rear diff.. any ideas what causes this? It looks like not just the rear belt got chewed up some how, but the pully faces are a bit damaged too...

... Help ...

Is that all? This is my first belt drive car so I didn't want to replace the belt just to find out there's a setting or something causing this problem.

check it over good make shure the belt isnt slapping anything. but if you were runnin it outside a rock could have done it. and by the looks off all the belt dust in the fist picture is that something was rubbing in the rear so im thinking a rock or something. make shure there is nothing under that pulley and belt.
