Default SC10 Help

I have an SC10 RTR and it ran fine for a while but then I let one of my mates have a go and he was quite hevy on the throttle. After that it is always makeing wierd grinding noises when i drive it. I think it is something to do with the transmission gears but am not sure. Help plese!

First check the gear mesh, Then if there is no problem there. You probably want to take the gear case apart and check all those gears.

Also you will get more help if you post this thread in the electric off-road section.

most likely so in the tranny...u c in the tranny there r lil very thin spacers and they have a tendency to wear out rather quickly...so if u were to take apart the tranny im sure u will find one that is buggered up, some guys have had very good luck with this diff and there r some that have had nothing but probs...best scenario that ive came up with is build a ball diff this is what i did...u will have to get a whole new diff case tho...the ones for the t4/b4, u can use this case on the sc10 t-plate but u cannot use the gear diff on the other t-plate...just FYI hope this helps

I learned a long time ago that no one drives my RCs but me - not even the wife.

I can screw them up myself very well thank you and don't need the help )or the aggravation).....
