REVO 4.6 conversion
Hi guys I have a revo with a HPI big block. It is almost winter here in Canada so I want to sell the engine, tank, lines, filters, batterys, ez start and ez turn.
all together I will sell for 150 plus shipping. Its still relatively new and runs awesome.
The purpose of this thread is I am starting on my Brushless conversion and am looking for pointers.
So I am to understand I need a mod 1 pinion
a good motor
A FWD FORWARD ONLY CONVERSION KIT REVO
One of these motor mounts
I have 2 x 2s 20c 5000ma tunigy batteries. can I hook them in sequence and how would I go about it with a simple T connector?
Are there any hop ups or tricks I am missing here? I am getting my ducks in a row and got my finger on the buy button but want to see if im on the right track.
Here is my upgraded monster!
also will removing the disk break and servo be as effective breaking and will it fry my motor or esc?
thank you all in advance for your input

You can hook the batts together in series an run them as a 4S 5000mah lipo. It'll take a series connector like this -

Motor braking has always been as effective for me vs mechanical brakes unless its in a 1/8th where you can set the front to rear bias with the mech brakes. It does put a load on the esc, but it shouldn't be anything the esc can't handle. They're designed with this in mind.
