Default Need Battery and Motor help

I just got an RC10 buggy and want to race it in the stock Div. I was wondering since I couldnt find rules really anywhere that helped, what motor and batterys I should think about getting?

Stock class is 17.5 but my club says 13.5 is stock so find out from your track. As far as batteries you don't need the big c numbers just because if you only run stock you won't ever discharge that much so a 30-40c rating would be good and atleast 3800 mah is what you should look for.
What kind of esc fdo you have will determine manufactur in getting motor and battery just depends. I like my thunder power alot

+1. That would be the way to go. I would go with like an LRP ESC and maybe a Novak 17.5 or 13.5 depending on what your track allows.
