Default new to rc and have questoins

ok i bought the traxxis russler and my moror went bad so i got the brushless up grade i am cuerntly running a 7.4 volt batt and i have speed but i want wheelies and power insted should i go get a 11 volt batt or can i gear it for power and wheelies? im brand new to this thanks for any help.

i donno anything about russlers,
easiest solution, reduce pinion teeth or even change to lipo 7.4 batteries.

11.1v batteries definitely works but its too risky as i've seen lots of people stripping gears or even completely destroy out drives and coupler.

well i see your runing a li-po 7.4v batt already so try tighten the slipper clutch all the way down and if that don't work try a smaller pinon gear,then if that don't work then try a 11.1v plus make shure your esc is runing in 100% forword and 100% backwards mode.But yes 11.1v will give you guaranteed wheelies.

ooooook this is what you have to do, get a mamba monster max and a 22.2v batt. and your popin wheelies maybe a back-flip no definitely a back-flip

How long do batteries last? I have a few 8.4v batteries that are about 20 years old... are they dead?

Default Tamiya TNX 5.2R

Is it just me..or do these things eat clutch's..??..and anything else I should look out for..???..Seems this thing likes to eat parts....!!!
Any warnings...or help would be greatly appreciated,,
