Any help will be appericated. OH i forgot tell you it is a .15fe i think it's a hpi motor the orginal. It seems now i think about it dies when i hit my brakes. Sounds like your linkage is part of the prob as braking is able to close the carb completely shutting the engine off. Even with full brakes, there should still be about a 1mm opening in the carb. The other thing to check is the idle adjustment, the screw may have backed out letting the carb close all the way and not be a linkage issue at all.

The hard starting after running makes me wonder if its running lean and getting hot. Then when you try to recrank it after its stalled, the fuels boiling off and not gettting into engine. Is it running hot?

I bet it is. Because when i try to start it again after it runs, its like its not getting fuel to the motor. But anyways i broke the carb so i need to fix that now before i can get it running right anway. But i bet you are right. Thank you for replying.

When you get it back together, richen the high speed needle about 1/8th turn, that should help with it running hot.

is not worth to replace the carb if your engine is too old
