What is Pinion Module?
I need some pinion gears for my MMM/ Castle-Neu setup. So far, I know that I'll need a 5mm diameter pinion with 32Pitch. But what's with all these .8, 1.0 mod? people are talking about?
On Robinsonracing website it shows both .8 and 1.0 module pinions. What are the difference? and are they both 32pitch? Thanks!:) |

Look at the top of page 41 where it is defined. It applies only to metric gears and is just a way of specifying the gear/teeth. Th2 1.0 module will have slightly bigger teeth than 0.8 Module. What you need for pinion depends on what you have for a spur gear, they obviously need to match. |
You can do some more checking around but I have been told .8 m is the metric equivelent to 32 pitch and these http://www.robinsonracing.com/catalog/emaxx-3905.html are the pinions that I use on my brushless E-Revo with stock spurs with absolutely no problems. :)

What are you putting the system in? :)

It's for Losi 8ight, so 32Pitch Spur. I was looking for 13t pinion for it.
