Default Proper way to setup car?

So how do all you more topend racers adjust camber, toe in/out etc.... do you all do it by eye ? or are there certain tools ? can you tell me what these tools are or links to them. im trying to adjust my cars settings but not sure if the camber toe in/out is all right because i just do it by eye.

It's better to go to your local racing track and ask the racers to teach you. Don't hesitate - they like new members to race with!

Depending on what class you run will dictate what tools you will need. If you race offroad, you won't need a tweak station and doubt if you need a set up board either. You can use a cheap plastic camber gauge that usually comes it kits for your tires and for the rear most buggies and trucks have blocks for setting rear toe, front you can kind of eyeball. In onroad you may want a station and tweak board and there are many different ones at big differences in pricing depending on brand and what is included. For onroad you will also need a droop gauge and ride height gauge and many do both. Ask drivers at the track to get you in the right direction.

xray setup guides that you can download off their website.

the onroad 1 under their touring cars

the offroad 1 under their 1/8 buggy info page.

real detailed and can be applied to most all cars.

offroad based but also very good on description of main pts of setup.
