Default which Nitro Truck?

I'm looking to spend around $600-700, which model is solid for jumps and bashing and durable enough that I won't be dropping tons of loot in parts. I was considering a HPI savage Xl 5.9 or AE MGT 8.0. I'm willing to consider other options.

The HPI savage is probably what you'er looking for. It's under your price range and vary durable. Also competitive out of the box. I don't own one, but I've seen them take major pushment, and still keep on driving.

if u want to be competitive at the track an eight-t is more than ur budget. try a slayer, the slash is almost unbreakable and uses most of the same parts as the slayer, plus new rtr is around $450

+1 for the Savage. I have one and it's great! My buddy completely tricked his out. There is a TON of aftermarket support, and it's a time proven design.

If your looking to spend 600 or 700 definitely go with the 8T if you decide to race you can throw it on a tack and race
