i need a charger that will charge lipos and nimh thinking bout switching to lipos but still want to be able to charge some of the packs i still have. (nimh) but is there a charger that will dose this and still plug in the wall ? (120v input).

There aren't many other AC/DC chargers that do lipos too. I think the Duratrax Onyx does. It is not as good as the Hyperion but it is cheaper.

The AC part is limiting as far as choices are concerned. Most of the more flexible, capable chargers (charge everything) are DC. The Onyx is AC/DC but only the top of the line is lipo capable and I don't see anything about a balancer. The hyperion has a builtin balancer. Onyx would need separate balancer.

Hyperion is the probably one of the better quality ones your going to find. Its big bucks, but it will charge pretty much everything you mentioned.

epthegeek has one, I've seen it first hand, and its awesome.
