Racing can be a great way for you and your b/f to spend time together as well as help you build skills to be more competitive. If he is a fast competitive driver, hit the track on a practice night and watch him drive a few laps. Watch his line and how he drives the course. Then, break out your car/truck/buggy and follow him around the track and try to copy his line as best as possible. Start slow, perhaps 1/2 throttle. As you get more and more smooth, increase your pace.
