I would like to get into RC Racing at the local track. I am looking for some feedback on what kind of car to buy.

one option for you is to actually go to your local track and see what the people there are mostly racing/using (EP, nitro, 1/10) and talk to them in order that whenever you decide what kind RC you are going to buy, you'll be buying the right kind and the right equipment.

On road or off road? Find out what the locals drive. It's easier to get help with setup if others at your track are familiar with your car. It's also nice to have a car with decent local parts support.

if you are starting out i would get a car that your local hobby store supports the most , that way you will always replacement parts available to you
