Default Need battery education

I upgraded from a LIPO 11.1v 1500mah to 11.1v 2200MAH.

If I take the truck to the park, I am getting almost the exact same run time with either battery.

If I run it on the street at my house, I get 35 minutes from 2200.

The conditions at the park are sand, loose grass, gravel, and long-run paths.

Do the conditions at the park make a difference in run time?

Also, if the engine gets hot, will that limit run time?

Thanks

As far as LiPo batteries go, these are both very low capacity cells, and the difference is nor great at only 700mAh.

And yes, driving in Off-Road conditions will usually use up noticeably more power than running on a smooth surface will,
