motors for sct and 1/8 noob help
looking to race some off road (1/8 and 4wd sct ) what motor and esc shold i be looking at?
any info would be great i race on road but never touch offroad

You can't go wrong with Hobbywing for motor and esc. Most run 1900 in buggy, SCT I can't help you.

What brand ESC do you use for onroad? If you're happy with that brand and they have 1/8 scale ESCs, that's what I'd use. 1/8 scale ESCs in 4wd SCT seem to work better even when running on 2S because they are designed for heavier loads. I've got a Hobbywing XR8 SCT & 3660 4000kv combo in my 4wd and I really like it.
