Looking for High torque high speed motor
Hi, I am new to this forum as well as new to this field. I am from Computer software background and interested in hardware.
I am working on an experiment in that I want to use a high power/torque high speed motor (DC or AC doesn't matter). The motor will not be controlled RC, for now I want it to be wired controlled and even power supply can be Electric grid and not battery pack. What I am trying to do is a rotating arm at high speed say 10K RPM spin a heavy ball say about 5-10lb and then launch, like a cannon. I also prefer motor not to be bulky, there are some out there which are 50+ lb themselves. Anyone has any suggestions? Any links to motor would be appreciated as well. If anyone know similar project links/youtube videos etc. would also help a lot.
