Default E Revo 2.0 Diff Problem

I broke two teeth off of the front diff ring gear while I attempted to use the self-righting feature. I got the ring gear replaced no problem and I added some 50k oil cuz there wasn’t much in the diff. Now when I put the diff back in it is very tight. It is not smooth like the rear diff. If I loosen the screws to the ring gear it helps a little but the movement is still kinda choppy like I can feel the gears moving. Besides adding some oil and replacing the ring gear I haven’t done anything to it. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I checked the pinion thoroughly and everything is okay. I noticed the diff was stiff even when it was completely removed from the car. I thought something was wrong with the spider gears but nothing looks wrong.

I completely drained the diff and it’s still stiff. When I put the 4 screws in the diff tightly the diff won’t even turn. When I loosen them a bit the diff loosens up a little. Only thing I can of is the spider gears but they seem fine. I’m puzzled.

No clue only thing I can say is take it all the way apart and try to reassemble it and see what happens

Problem solved. I took the diff apart and when putting it back together I noticed one of the o-rings wasn’t sealing correctly. Took it out and the diff works fine. I run my Mugen buggy without o-rings and was wondering if it would be okay to run the E-Revo without one too?

I don’t have an extra one on hand. I put it back in the car without the o ring and drove it for a few minutes and then checked for leaks. Didn’t see any leaks at all. I’m gonna take the diff back out and tighten everything back up and get a further inspection.

Took the diff out and everything is in ship shape. Only problem is a half shaft in the front is completely destroyed. Could this have something to do with the diff?
