Default how do engines die?

hi, this is probably a simple thing to answer, but i flat out dont know. how/why do engines stall, cutout, and die? my only thought as to how is the glow plug not bieng hot enough. is that correct?

Theres quite a number of factors that could affect it flaming out.....fuel could be bad/stale, clutch may not be working correctly, too rich, too lean, glow plug probs etc

because its a two-stroke engine. all 2 stroke engine doesnt stay running long if you dont clear the carb (throttle).
