Default Which Tyres for Carpet

Hi Guys,

1:10 Touring Xray 05

Where can I find info on what Tyres, Inserts and wheels to use on carpet tracks, something that can help me decide what I need for what track ?

Club track has a Long Straight with 6 Hairpin turns.

What would you buy as a starter alrounder, untill I understand this ?

Regards

Dave

What is allowed rubber or foam?

For rubber popular picks are:
-Sorex

temp rating depends on indoors or ourdoor

If you are racing foam tires, below are 5 good manufacturers to choose from:

Jaco
Jaco 2 Stage
Parma
BSR
TRC

These are the TOP tire companies for foam. Compounds would depend on the type of carpet you will be running on. If you will be running on Ozite (CRC), then I would go with Jaco, either single or 2 stage, in XXPink / XXPinkOrange compound. All of the above companies make great products, and it comes down to what works best, availabilty, and of course the price.

One of the best ways to find the best tire for your track is ask the faster guys what they are running, and also check with the shop to see what they recommend.
