I hate going to job interviews for companies that claim to be in Marketing and PR, but when you get there you learn that it's actually a reseller who goes door to door to small businesses to sell them on stuff like Pepsi, FedEx, SBC, etc...

I really hate racing only 5 minutes in the main....
Then having to discharge a battery pack thats only 1/2 done....

Well , if I think about it , 5 min is real kool for qualiflying....

Its those 5 minute mains....yeah , thats it !

After racing for the pass two weeks with 10 minute mains, I`v learned 5 minutes mains really suck....
So now
I really hate um.....

ought a bee 10 minutes .... at least !

Yeah !!!! Thats the ticket.....

Sure 10 minutes is nice.... but when time is a premium for a race night or program... then how can it be justified to DOUBLE the race and qualifying time - think leaving the track at 1AM and later...

At Trcr (Tac. WA ) Off-road....

We have been running 10 min mains for a month now...

We run 5 min qualiflier`s(not 8 or 10)
8 or 10 min mains ( depends on the turn out )

If you do the math, we finnish racing on a reasonable time.
This is of course cus of the lighter turn outs we have during this time of season.

Still, no reason your club should`nt try it out..

If we had 75 entries, we still would run longer mains , just 8 min unstead of 10 min.... We would finnish by 10:30<>11:00 pm (7:00pm start time)

If you had 6 A-mains to run, you would only run the race program a total of extra time =18 minutes longer(8 min main)......
