Default Drone Quadcopter as a Business

Hiya all..

as I drove to work in the freezing cold at 6am this morning.. I started to realise I don't like my job any more.. LOL.. Don't we all!!

So been thinking of business ideas and came up with a drone pilot for industry and farming.

I have no idea about drones.... yet.. I am about to venture out into the world of cameras and props.

So.. I have looked at some of the ones available.. but am looking at the bigger ones.

Anyone know of where I could go to find info regarding building my own?
I need to research the radio systems etc..

Any advice?

Did some research yesterday..

So in Australia.. you need to get in contact with CASA and you almost need a full pilot license.. LOL

http://www.casa.gov.au/scripts/nc.dl...::pc=PC_100374

These are the required tickets..

As for craft.. to lift a Digital SLR you need at least a HEX of 800mm

As for me.. I think I am going to get me a racer quad copter to learn to fly with FVP first.. should check out the utube vids on racing these things... looks like great fun.. except the driver is standing there with those goggles on.. LOL

Would love to get into the GPS side of these drones as I have a bloke that owns a massive farm, and if we use the coordinates, we could make a drone do his perimeter run.. to check fences and find livestock

Quite interested in this as a project rather than making money now
