Post My second heli

My first heli was an utter disaster! It was, I believe, a helimax heli of some sort, and it was very unpleasant to fly. It had a tail rotor and hovering proved to be nearly impossible. It wasn't too long before I had crashed it a dozen times and gave up. It wound up in a bag at my work sitting next to my locker, when I sold it for $10.

My new heli is a Eflite MCX, and I love it!

I don't care if it isn't a so called "real" heli, it amuses the hell out of me. I have been flying the crap out of it and so far I have only broken the holder for the upper blades. I did have a few interesting events with it. The first time I was flying it outside it wound up on the roof. While at work, and working at a hobbystore that sells them, I can fly it as promotion to sell them. A coworker was flying a Helimax mini (can't remember the name of it) and we had a mid air collision. I had been hanging out near the ceiling to avoid getting caught in the wash from the blades and we accidentally ran into each other.

But the strangest event was the other day, while flying outside. I was flying back from the front door and large fly or a bee flew into the heli and knocked it out of the air! Too funny.

Yay!

I really want one of these now.

Was the heli phased after the bee collision?
