Default Good cheap hardware to get into RC planes?

Been looking to get started with some planes recently, and the free FliteTest foam plans seem like an accessible starting point. The only problem is it seems every Dollar Tree (two of em lol) in a hundred mile radius doesn't carry the usual foam board. What are some good alternatives to that? I saw Walmart carries their offbrand "Pen+Gear" foam board but I haven't seen anyone using that.

Also, are there any cheap motors/servos/ESCs off Amazon/Aliexpress that would fit well with these borderline disposable planes? For a transmitter I'll likely go with a cheap Spektrum or Radiomaster, and battery-wise I've found some Zeee 3s 2200mah lipos for 10 bucks a pop which is very convenient. I've got a lot of basic tools and hardware from doing RC car stuff a decade ago so assembly should be pretty simple, just dunno if there's anything in particular to pay attention to at this price point and scale. Thanks

FliteTest foam board is great, but if you can’t find it, the Pen+Gear foam board from Walmart can work just fine. Just make sure it’s similar in weight and thickness. Another option is Adams Readi-Board, which is very similar to what FliteTest uses. As for motors and servos, check out Racerstar motors and servos on Banggood or Aliexpress, which are affordable and work well with budget builds. For ESCs, look at the BLHeli series for good reliability at a low price. I can also ask around for who's selling.
