Really want a DJI, but am thinking a racing drone actually might be cheaper, and more fun. Anyone know what is the way to go? Or know any drone builders.

Have you ever flew a drone? If not I recommend buying a cheapo. Or a Tiny whoop style drone to learn on. It’s not as easy as it looks in the videos you watch. A lot of those guys been flying for a while.
also not like cars if you crash they break. A good quality race drone is quite durable but they do still break. Especially props, and motors.

I have flew a few small drones. Also a trainer airplane. Maybe DJI is the way to go and get the protection plan.

DJI drone basically fly themselves Way different than a Racing or Freestyle Mini Quad. OR Helicopter.
