HobbyZone Sport Cub S 2 RTF
I like many others need to keep social distance at this time. I am lucky enough to live on a farm so I have a lot of open area that I can walk around on. Normally race on road tc, so that is out for now.
Thinking about getting a plane to mess around with when bored. What does everyone think about the Hobbyzone Sport Cub as a good starting plane. It is cheap and looks durable. The drawback that I see the short runtime on a battery. But maybe 4 minutes is longer then I think in the air.

I just got a Carbon Cub S+. It's a little more money, but it is bigger. And uses a larger battery, 3s 1300mah vs 1s 150mah, included in RTF kits. My only problem is getting the radio to bind. All I get after binding is a slow wag from the elevator.

I bought the plane and been practicing on days that the wind is light. Have had some bad crashes but haven't broken anything yet. Have some gorilla glue just in case.
The transmitter distance is a little to short. Lost the plane once, but was able to retrieve it. Think that the Carbon Cub rtf would have been a better purchase.
